Sherri Shepherd returned to “The View” on Tuesday to promote her new show, “Trial & Error.” Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Shepherd was a co-host on the ABC talk show from 2007 to 2014. She quit “The View” at the same time as pal Jenny McCarthy. But after an initially messy parting from the program, Shepherd returned on occasion as a contributor.
Still, it’s been some time since her last appearance. And on today’s episode, she joined the current panel in Disney World, where the show is taping this week. Of exploring the amusement park with her son, Shepherd shared, “I’m not 17 anymore. I lasted like four hours, and then mommy had to take a nap.”
The comedic actress had the panelists in stitches as she spoke about getting pranked on “To Tell The Truth” and buying a convertible after moving to Los Angeles. “I love being single,” she went on to reveal, giving Whoopi Goldberg props for advice she didn’t take years ago. The moderator quipped, “Now she got the book.” Shepherd cracked, “And alimony, too!”
On her new NBC comedy, Shepherd explained it’s like “How To Get Away With Murder,” if that drama was a mockumentary. “It’s amazing working next to [John] Lithgow,” she commented, going on to exclaim, “I got a job!” Watch the full video below!
